The old adage, you are what you eat holds much truth. Since each of us has control over what we eat, this is a great way to take charge of your health. We will give you individualized recommendations on the best foods and diet for you. We may also discuss food allergy and food sensitivity testing if we think this may be helpful for you. Your treatment may also include supplements of vitamins and/or minerals as appropriate.
The way you live your life has a profound impact on your health. Movement, deep breathing, a regular bedtime, and getting enough sunlight, among other things can all significantly improve you health. In addition, concerns and challenges in your everyday life are explored and addressed as desired.
Many plants are powerful medicines. We will combine them in a safe and effective way to address your symptoms as well as the cause. If you are on pharmaceutical drugs, we will monitor for any drug-herb interactions. As Naturopaths, we are the only licensed health care providers fully trained in the use of botanical medicine.
This powerful system of medicine is based on the “law of similars” (like cures like). Remedy selection is individualized and based on specific symptoms. Specially prepared dilutions of substances are carefully matched with the patient to stimulate the body’s innate ability to heal.

Dr. Jill (Edwards) Turner has received additional training in the following therapies and employs them with success in her practice.
Our bodies seek to remove normal waste products and toxins through four primary emunctories or systems: the digestive tract, liver, kidneys, and lungs. When these routes are not functioning efficiently, the waste will accumulate in and around your cells. The build-up of these waste products doesn’t allow your cells to effectively communicate with each other and can lead to inflammation, fatigue, immune compromise, and acute or chronic disease. If your primary emunctories are blocked or sluggish, your body seeks out secondary routes to rid the excess waste. These secondary routes are often the skin and mucous membranes of the sinuses and the vagina. The goal of biotherapeutic drainage, specifically using UNDA numbers, is to assist your body in eliminating this waste and toxins in a balanced and continuous way. With clear communication between cells, other therapies are more effective in helping you to find balance and wellness, successfully treating the root cause of your disease.
Bowen therapy is a specific series of gentle muscle and connective tissue movements used to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal problems and sports injuries, as well as other conditions such as sinus congestion, asthma, and headaches. These gentle yet powerful moves send a nerve impulse to the muscles and brain, which help to realign and restore balance to the muscles, joints, and nerves. Many of the moves are located along acupuncture meridians or on specific acupuncture points, which are known to stimulate and balance the body’s energy. You may notice changes taking place in your body over the next one to four days. A typical treatment takes 15-30 minutes and is done while you are completely clothed. Bowen therapy is safe for acute injuries, pregnancy, and newborns.
